Poco dopo l’uscita di “Paradise And Lunch”, nella primavera del 1974 Cooder salì sul palco di Ebbets Field, nei dintorni di Denver, un locale piccolissimo, per soli 200 fortunati. Lo show fu però trasmesso dalla KCUV FM Radio. Tra i brani alcuni omaggi ai suoi eroi come Sleepy John Estes, Blind Blake e Joseph Spence.
